The Third UG Convocation of Xavier University Bhubaneswar: 22nd April '19 : The third UG Convocation of Xavier University Bhubaneswar was held on 22nd April, 2019 at 5:00pm at the mini Auditorium, Xavier University Bhubaneswar. Shri. Asit Kumar Tripathy, IAS, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Odisha was the Chief Guest and Convocation Speaker.

XCOMM Symposium 2018 : was held on 7th September, 2018 at Xavier University Bhubaneswar.

3rd International Conference: 3rd International Conference on “Social Media: The Changing Communication Environment” was organized by Xavier School of Communications, Xavier University Bhubaneswar held on 15 and 16 December 2017.

VIKALP 2017: November 17-19, 2017 The second edition of Vikalp - Songs, Stories and Conversations was held from November 17-19, 2017 at Xavier City campus. It was hosted by the Xavier School of Communications at the mini auditorium of the Xavier City Campus, Xavier University Bhubaneswar. The essence of the festival was to celebrate plurality, diversity and tolerance through its attempt to revitalize the long-lost art forms.

2nd International Conference on "The role of media in Democracy" : November 25 & 26, 2016 VIKALP - a three day programme on “songs stories and conversations” was organized by Xavier School of communications (XCOMM) in collaboration with X-Stage and Spic-Macay of the faculty of management, Xavier University Bhubaneswar from October 20-22, 2016. The central theme of VIKALP is to celebrate the spirit of diversity and plurality weaving together a series of traditional and contemporary art forms of India. It was a humble effort to provide a platform to some less familiar art forms practiced across different regions of the land. It was also an effort to relocate the resilient, undying ethos of plurality through music, melody and dialogue.
